What makes Midreshet Koby Mandell unique?
Schedule
Mornings
Students will be required to attend 3 hours of classes each morning for a total of 15 hours a week, 10 in required subjects and 5 in elective subjects.
Required subjects include: Chumash, Tanach, Jewish Philosophy, Halacha and Tfila.
Elective subjects include: Talmud, Jewish History and Tanach.
Individual courses will be determined in consultation with students during the coming spring.
Afternoons
The first course of every afternoon will be devoted to the various aspects of the psychology program.
During the rest of the afternoons additional courses will be offered Torah, Zionism and Ulpan.
One afternoon a week will be devoted to field work with campers of Camp Koby and other children in crisis.
Evenings
1 evening will be dedicated to field
work review with the psychology staff
2 evenings will be spent with Madrichot participating in
Chugim and electives
Thursday evenings will be a Parsha class followed by a Tish.
Monday nights are free
